Yet Another Reason To Avoid The NFL

If criminal connections, spousal abuse, injuries to brains, and a dreadfully low duty-cycle haven’t already put you off watching NFL games, “The Official Tablet and PC Operating System of the NFL.” now they’ve formed a league with the devil, M$. Oh, the horror…

The official word is that collusion with M$ is about bringing better technology to the game and better experiences to viewers, but this is really about infecting yet another generation of humanity with M$’s “mindshare”. Thank Goodness this is mostly a USAian phenomenon. The USA can continue to sink into irrelvance while drinking wine and watching circus-games.

I sense a certain hostility towards the USA (not especially irrelevant for the foreseeable future), wine (quite popular worldwide) and circus-games (presumably not including that Canadian favourite, Ice Hockey), Robert.

As a proud Citizen of Manitoba, which particular one of those three grieves you the most?

Slow/dropped Wi-Fi, heating issues, and lockups persist, but Surface Pro pro’s manual driver installation procedure may help…LOL!

“You may recall that Microsoft issued its first firmware patch for the Surface Pro 3 on June 19, the day the first Surface Pro 3 shipped. On July 8, Microsoft pushed another firmware update and hedged its bets by saying there would be yet another firmware update on July 16. That July 16 patch has now come and gone, but many people are still complaining on the Microsoft Answers forum about Surface Pro 3 problems, likely associated with faulty firmware and/or drivers”

Save your money and go buy (5) Chromebooks for the price of one of these over-priced monstrosities.

“Microsoft technology is known to fail…I was told mine was going to work, and mine didn’t work,” Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone said after his team fell 17-13 to the New York Giants.

Wow, so consumers are not buying these damn things, so someone gets the wild idea of over-charging the NFL and selling it to them.

What a lucrative way to secure 5-years worth of revenue and M$ spends $400 million to “sell” a few hundred Surfaces (only 32 NFL teams).

Pity the coaches who have been suckered into using these pricey paperweights. How many times will M$ relaunch the failed Surface, before they finally accept the fact that they can’t undo a flop?

The Other Football is beginning to catch up and may over take football in this generation. I was surprised how much World Cup fever was around last month.

here is what else they have in common, the NFL is a non profit organization.
