GNU/Linux Springs Forth

Several countries are having huge growth in shares of page-views for GNU/Linux desktops, according to StatCounter:

Ethiopia is my favourite, with GNU/Linux having overtaken XP and pressuring “7”. Whatever the details that caused these hot-points, globally the same phenomenon is seen, huge growth rates this month. It is a brave new world with PCs either migrating to or shipping with GNU/Linux.
