One picture created from data provided by StatCounter says it all:
The rate of growth and magnitude of Android/Linux page-views, according to StatCounter, overtook Lose 8 in May and today, the rate of growth of Android/Linux exceeds that of Lose 8.1. It doesn’t get much better than that unless GNU/Linux were also to take off…
The erosion of M$’s market share for client OS that took its first steps in the late 1990s and began to jog in the 2000s is in a flat-out race now. The global community will determine the outcome by how it shops and manufactures but I doubt we will ever see again monopoly in IT as it was a decade ago. This is better for all of us except the would-be monopolists.
Windows 8 has flat-lined, no one wants it.
THE END.
M$ agrees to continue releasing 7, as businesses rejected Windows 8.
