NSA: GNU/Linux TOO SECURE…

You have to wonder if the NSA isn’t trying to win the Darwin Award. When did the role of the National Security agency change from keeping USA safe to sabotaging the world’s IT? From the beginning… NSA was created to deal with communications “intelligence” (ie. stolen information) and “The special nature of COMINT activities requires that they be
treated in all respects as being outside the framework of other or general intelligence activities. Orders, directives, of the Executive Branch relating dissemination, or utilization of policies, or recommendations of any authority to the collection, production, security, handling, intelligence, and/or classified material, shall not be applicable to COMINT activities, unless specifically so stated and issued.”
We can’t blame anyone but the USAian government for creating this loose cannon. It was bound to go off and hurt people.
“the NSA will not be working on anything like SE Linux again, blaming it for creating all kinds of problems for the agency”

see NSA suddenly sours on Open Source.

So, the NSA regrets protecting USAian government organizations, civilian organizations and USAians generally from spying foreigners? Do they recommend everyone use XP? Giving such power and influence to such stupid people is a huge mistake. The USAian people had better take back their government if they want to preserve any freedom or sanity. Thanks, Snowden, for opening this can of worms.
