Android tablets beating out iPad in business and IT – That Other OS Need Not Apply

What more could I say…

“Android was clearly the preferred choice, with 44% of respondents saying they’d choose a device that uses the Linux-based operating system. Only three percent of respondents said they’d opt for Windows 8, and 21% said they weren’t sure.”

This is another example that shows when people have choice, they will choose FLOSS over that other OS and stuff made by M$’s “partners”.

Patents: If people had understood how patents would be granted when most of today’s ideas were invented, and had taken out patents, the industry would be at a complete standstill today.

  3. “Why do you think (Google is) ramping up their patent portfolio?”

There’s a difference between defense and offense. Google is under attack. What do you expect them to do? Stand idly by while Apple and Microsoft attempt to patent the wheel?

  4. Viktor says:

Apple/Microsoft cannot keep up, why do you think they are suing and using patent extortion schemes?

Because all is fair in love and war? Google will do exactly the same. Why do you think they’re ramping up their patent portfolio?

    Android is at 934,000 activation’s a day.

Apple/Microsoft cannot keep up, why do you think they are suing and using patent extortion schemes?

For a second there I thought you were going to say in 2001 Android didn’t even exist. Ha, ha ha ha ha ha…

    Another day, another LOL post.

News from the past: in 2001 not many people were thinking about buying an Xbox. And yet it became a modest success and prepared the stage for the Xbox 360, with which Microsoft even left behind Sony (who were thought of as unbeatable after PS and PS2).
