NIB* Samsung Galaxy S II Smartphone

To my surprise, I found one of these on the counter when I got up this morning. Since the wife was nowhere to be seen, I charged the unit and connected it to our LAN. Trivial. Except for the sliding hatch-cover for the USB charger and my huge fingers on the tiny keyboard, there were no issues. It just worked flawlessly and in landscape mode, a video on YouTube was quite enjoyable. Wintel should be worried. Hook up a USB keyboard and mouse and this thing is a winner.

Wow! Simply Wow!

UPDATE My wife bought this gadget second-hand from a user who wanted something even newer… and this model is only a few months old! Clearly, Android/Linux is a must-have OS.

Probably the latest 1.2Ghz Dual Core wonder. The Galaxy S that you have is probably 1Ghz single core.

Congratulations on your (or rather your wifes) new toy!

So when do you get your own 😉

  2. The thing has not a mark on it and did look to me NIB but it was not. Even the cord to the power adaptor was professionally tied up.

  4. I just hooked it up to the LAN wirelessly. My wife is thinking of buying a SIM for her current plan.

AH HA! See? Most of those Android activations are duplicates!

Well at least that’s what our buddies across the Great Reality Divide would say.
