Why I’m Glad I Escaped The Wintel Monopoly All Those Years Ago

It’s so tedious that M$ and Intel have monopolized computing, an activity I love and appreciate for its power, efficiency and economy, at least using GNU/Linux. Today I read the following articles and just had to thank Debian GNU/Linux for freeing me from all this stuff:
