Cosby, The Great Pretender

I remember Cosby as a teenager. I watched his shows on TV. I thought he was cool. Then, as an adult, I heard one of his broadcasts on radio of his “stand up” routine. It was disgusting filth. I never respected Cosby after that, about 1975. I was not surprised to hear the guy was a serial rapist. The disrespect of women oozed out of the man.

Not really worth a post but I was pleased to hear Cosby was convicted and women were finally believed. There’s even a connection to technology. The prosecutor argued bail should be revoked because Cosby has a private plane. Cosby swore in court… He did own a plane 7 years ago: https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/7155993 Also, Cosby gets to wear an ankle-monitor the next few weeks before he goes to jail or whatever sentence he receives. It will be interesting to see whether the court weighs the “pattern and practice” against Cosby’s defenders arguing for lenience. It appears this guy was a serial rapist of severe impact but the statutes of limitations spared him life in prison. At his age the court might still manage that but it’s a shame that justice is delayed as well as denied in this case. I would not be surprised to see some statutes of limitation lifted.

And that’s why no one takes you seriously, Bob.

Have to say I always disliked Cosby as well (and I don’t intend to claim any specific show or performance caused it), but I can’t imagine how they could convict him of anything here without a confession.

It’s just a “he said/she said.” Or do they have actual evidence?

    How could they get any?

Because at this point I’m becoming inclined to ask: Who’s next?

Will Hammie accuse Fifi of typing inappropriately? Who will go to prison in the event the jury believes the wrong rodent?

This would be pre-Richard Pryor, right?

I would be absolutely fascinated to learn what you thought of as “disgusting filth” in 1975, Robert. Perhaps you could furnish us with a Youtube link or the like?

    Did Bill mention “poo-poo,” perhaps?

Not that I want to call you out as a blatantly obvious liar who makes things up simply in order to feel better about his own failings when it comes to, say, the disadvantaged in Northern Manitoba, of course. But hey, some evidence — any evidence — couldn’t hoit.

    As we Jews say.

Lets spell it out together shall we kids!…….R…A…P…I…S…T !!!

Hey Robert, I think it is “It was disgusting filth.” that you subject TLW to terminal clients and Linux. But then again, you did admit that you rarely use them and use thick clients instead.

This from the guy that ignores the non-white women that were forcibly sterilized by his own country.
