Impeaching Trump

“”high crimes and misdemeanors” could be defined as “abuse or violation of some public trust.” This president has clearly already exceeded these standards. Congress has impeached past presidents for far less.”

See Impeach Trump: Add Your Name
Amen! The “I”-word has been hiding for months. It’s time a wave of e-mails and telephone calls swept over Washington DC with the call. It’s long passed the time. Impeachment is not lacking for lack of evidence. Every week Trump supplies more. Pick your threshold of pain he has inflicted.

The problem seems to be that the GOP has still not sickened of Trump, hoping he will sign their legislation. That’s not happening because their majority in the Senate is too small and fragile. As long as a few senators vote with their guts and not the fervor of a mob, Trump will be checked in his headlong rush back to the 19th century. The citizens will not stand for that and I’m hoping the GOP loses its majority in 2018 mid-term elections. The support for Trumpism is at an all-time low today. I pray that continues downward for the coming year. Perhaps before the GOP follows Trump into the abyss they will come to their senses. If nothing else wakes up the GOP, perhaps it will be the looming increase in the deficit which dwarfs what Obama did even with a full on war going on. All of Trump’s promises seem to hinge on giving huge tax-breaks to Trump and his rich friends and to Hell with the deficit. The projection of 3-4% growth forever is utter nonsense without unfettered immigration and Free Trade and that’s not part of Trump’s plan. Neither is peace.

Do recall, it wasn’t me that bragged about being able to affect wifi signals just by standing near it with some outlandish, perhaps outbackish?, ability of yours.
The funny part was there are research papers on that very thing.
    https://www.theverge.com/2015/10/28/9625636/rf-capture-mit-wifi-tracking-surveillance-technology
So this was just another case if you not knowing your topic. It was attacking me over that proved to me you were making stuff up not basing anything on fact at all.

See get caught out telling fibs and you have to resort to personal insults.

Actually, now that I ponder your existence for a nanosecond, you are nothing but Robert’s yes-boy.
This is not true at all. I have disputed with Robert over time. Just you are more often wrong so I pick on you more Grece.

Shall I dredge up the past you wimp?
Not like I can do anything to stop you. Its you universal repsonce when you get caught out fibing over and over again. You have done it so many times now it no longer usable as a threat.

  2. Grece says:

Marfanboy, you are one to talk about politics, economics, finance and especially English grammar. Actually, now that I ponder your existence for a nanosecond, you are nothing but Robert’s yes-boy. If Robert postulated that the sky is blue, which it isn’t by the way, you would be all in 110%.

Grece so if my writing is that of a 12 year old some of trumps staff must be even worse. I still cannot believe that one of the bills put forwards by trumps team managed to have a full a4 page of text without a single full stop or capital or paragraph break in font size 10 with 2 cm margins. It kinda makes sense when the stuff is that bad being submitted by trump team that it having major rejection problems.

Actually Robert, the existing congress is doing just that, they rather do nothing then work together to pass legislation for the president to sign.
    https://www.congress.gov/search?q={%22congress%22:%22115%22,%22chamber%22:%22House%22,%22type%22:%22resolutions%22}&pageSort=documentNumber:desc

Nothing like being full of crap again Grece. Just because Trump is a media hog does not mean all of Congress is the same. Quite a few have passed due to the 10 days passing with the USA president trump doing nothing.

Grece so here you making stuff up and the public record not agreeing.

They rather burn the country down then help an outsider (Trump) to pass reforms and amend laws.
Also this is trash as well
    http://edition.cnn.com/2017/06/29/politics/president-trump-legislation/index.html
Out of this 57 there are ones that Trump had asked for.

Congress is doing their job. Lot of issue is Trump and his team has put up a lot of garbage written stuff and has been told to go back and rewrite something that workable and when something workable has landed at Congress they have passed it.

Congress is not getting into a supply blocking battle with Trump as they did with Obama. This stuff is fully public record.

So Grece is basically as normal believing complete fiction. Lot of Trump supports are like this there is huge amount of public records on what USA congress and presidents do that list what both parties have been doing.

Grece the sad reality here is I am not in the USA yet due to know where the public records are in the USA that are not fake news by media and other things I most likely have a better idea of what is going on in the USA than most USA citizens. Of course the USA education system does not teach their population where the public records on government activity are.

  8. oiaohm says:

Deaf Spy really there have been quite a few on the trump side as well that have been done in by sexual allegations. At long last in the USA money is ceasing to be enough to cover up these crimes.

Its easy to be tunnel visioned.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump_sexual_misconduct_allegations
Really Donald Trump track record reads the same as Dem Sponsor. So both sides need to look closer at who they should let run for office and who in heck they should take many from in the USA election system.

Hammy, take your meds you are being passively aggressive.
Funny Grece the Hammy need to take his own advice. Wait Grece is too big of idiot to be aware that faults you call others have a common case of being your own. Name calling is passive aggressive by medical define. Really my answers are not passive aggressive. Post again after you find your meds because apparently saying someone else needs them you must take them. Wait maybe your overdosing Grece.

  9. Grece says:

Robert are possibly related to Petey? It would explain a lot for sure.

Hammy, take your meds you are being passively aggressive.

  10. Kurkosdr says:

Trumpists plan to spend and kill their way to world peace or something.

You mean like that time they helped topple Gaddafi, converting Libya into a hot mess with ISIS training camps, or that time they funded, armed and trained not-so-moderate “rebels” and “fighters” (aah, gotta love that mainstream media whitewashing) in order to topple Assad?

Oh yeah, that was something the Dems did.

If anything, Trump is at odds with Reps that are in the pocket of the military-industrial complex like McCain.

  11. Deaf Spy says:

Trumpists plan to spend and kill their way to world peace or something.

You seem to be a great specialist on Trumpists, Robert. Pity you are not so well informed of Dems and Hillarists. I am really eager to hear you stance on the Great rapist, pardon, Dem Sponsor, Harvey.

  12. Kurkosdr wrote, “The only difference is that the US will probably choose the way of hyperinflation instead of the way of hypertaxation. Aka, you will still have your dollars, but you will need $25 to buy a carton of milk.

The US is Greece scaled up. Sorry Americans.”

I think USA is quite different. Trumpists plan to spend and kill their way to world peace or something. Rather than $25 milk, I expect they will have uncivil war first. After all they can’t talk to their enemies, foreign and domestic, so they will have to shoot them or blow them up. Trumpists believe it is better to destroy rather than fix stuff. They are much more dangerous than currency manipulators and do-nothing politicians or do-everything politicians.

  13. Kurkosdr says:

How a Disney costume can be racist is beyond me. And this is just the start. The article rages on to levels of unspeakable stupidity. No sensible human being can live with such foolishness.

The Dem party has been hijacked by commies, SJWs who think the world is obligated to bend over backwards in order to accommodate clearly infantile behaviour, and career politicians. There I said it.

You know things are bad when the party supporting creationism, anti-choice policies and the death of net neutrality is considered the “serious” party.

Americans are in for a rude awakening when the world stops buying their debt at cut-rate prices.

I know, because it is what happened to my country, Greece. The world stopped buying Greece’s debt at cut rate prices. The government couldn’t cut the entitlements of all those people sucking the government tit (aka early pensioners from the age of 45, government employees with no purpose, government-sponsored corporations etc etc), because there was a mass of people protesting and demanding that money should fall from the sky.

The only difference is that the US will probably choose the way of hyperinflation instead of the way of hypertaxation. Aka, you will still have your dollars, but you will need $25 to buy a carton of milk.

The US is Greece scaled up. Sorry Americans.

  14. oiaohm says:

Grece who is Petey its not me. So when you learn to ask a question properly maybe you will get a answer instead of being called a moron.

  15. Grece wrote, “What do you recommend Petey, CNN??”

Yes! Yesterday, FOX was ranting about the story that the Dems may have helped fund the “Russian Dossier” thing. CNN was reporting that six months ago.

“Steele was hired through an American firm that was paid by Republicans during the primaries, then Democrats seeking to stop Trump’s candidacy.”

TLW happened to be watching FOX upstairs while I was watching CNN downstairs yesterday evening. It was like networks from two different planets. I think FOX is trying to distract everyone from the fragmentation of the GOP when they dredge up old news and call it news.

  16. Grece says:

What do you recommend Petey, CNN??

  17. oiaohm says:

Deaf Spy come on using fox as a source. Every time fox is checked for fact over 50 percent of what they present turns out to be bogus.

Wait until it picked up by some other source that does fact checking before using it.

  18. Ivan says:

Well, duh! Who doesn’t like pounding beers while millionaire wife beaters chase down millionaire rapists?

  19. Deaf Spy wrote, “NFL rates are dropping this season.”

Meanwhile in the real world ticket sales and viewership increase.

National anthem protests don’t appear to be hurting NFL ticket sales

“the conclusion here is that there either has been no impact from a call for a boycott or there is a number of folks buying tickets because of the publicity the league has been getting.

Not only have fans not stopped going to games, but they’re watching on TV more than they did last year. Despite Trump’s claim that TV ratings are down, the overall figures for the past two weeks say the opposite. Week 3 ratings were up 3% across all games from 2016, including a spike of 63% in the rating for Monday Night Football, the league announced last week. Overall, viewership for Monday Night Football is averaging 11.9 million through the first four weeks, a 5% increase from last year.”

This is yet another example of why CNN’s ad about Trumpism is relevant and proper. This is an apple, not a banana…

  20. Deaf Spy says:

The gutting of the EPA will bring out every tree-hugger…Folks employed in renewable energy or EVs will vote “D”.

Irrelevant. Greenies are always Dem-votes, and other people increasingly hate them.

The policies on immigration will bring out everyone with an immigrant in the family, friends, and community.

Uh, like when Obama set a ban on Cubans?

Football lovers will want to preserve their sport and vote “D”.

Actually, NFL rates are dropping this season.

TV-watchers will want to preserve their medium and vote “D”….

    Why?!?

People who value women will vote “D”.

You mean people like Harvey, the prominent Democrat and Sponsor of Hillary Foundation?

Kentucky coal-miners who lose their health insurance will vote “D”… Folks who aren’t filthy rich will vote “D”.

Except that they all voted for Trump, while Dems still call them “deplorable”.

Folks who are filthy rich will vote “D”. Folks who are employed exporting stuff will vote “D”…. Folks who import stuff will vote “D”.

Not likely considering the new tax policy.

Expect “R”s to lose in a big way.

Yeah, yeah, right. Like Linux on Desktop, ARM over Intel for desktop, ARM over Intel for servers, LO over MSO, Robert receiving his Solo in 2018, and so on, and so on.

  21. Deaf Spy wrote, “Dems are lost. Completely. Speaking out such absurd idiocies can have only one effect – send people towards GOP in scores.”

All the insane rantings of Trump brought him to the White House with a margin of just a few thousand votes in key states. Now that buyers’ remorse has set in, the revulsion against Trumpism and supporters of Trump will make sure anyone not dead will drag themselves to the polls to set things right. There will be no illusions that the GOP can’t win next time to induce lethargy. The gutting of the EPA will bring out every tree-hugger. The policies on immigration will bring out everyone with an immigrant in the family, friends, and community. Football lovers will want to preserve their sport and vote “D”. TV-watchers will want to preserve their medium and vote “D”. People who value women will vote “D”. Kentucky coal-miners who lose their health insurance will vote “D”. 22. Deaf Spy ranted like a schizophrenic, rearranging history to suit his worldviews, and then wrote, “You don’t have even a second-hand Nissan Leaf.”

I was out on the grounds the last two days whacking weeds with my new rototiller when it occurred to me how great my life is. I have good food, friends, shelter, clothing, and I have machinery doing most of my work. Life is good. I enjoy contemplating the future rather than being mired in the past. My future is bright: another deer-season approaches, I’ve lots of seed in the ground, last year’s seeding was bountiful, I plan more seeding next spring and this time next year I will be driving a bright red Solo EV and bypassing filling stations.

Further good news… A local big box store offered me four new all-season radials for the old SUV at a good price, relative to the price of oil, and with 24 months to pay with zero interest. They will also do the changeover for my winter tires at the time of delivery. Life is good.

I’m contemplating planting some Norway spruce next year. Those things are tough, not bad to look at, and they grow like rockets fly. Life is good when you have options, enjoy considering them and pick the right one for your situation.

Meanwhile, Deaf Spy mutters alone on the Internet.

  23. Deaf Spy says:

In the USA, leftists – prominent Dem supporters and anti-Trumpists, keep showering people with… Stuff like this.

    Selected gems:
    – “an Elsa costume might reinforce notions of white privilege, dressing up as Moana is essentially cultural appropriation”
    – “You can (and should) strive to be better than you were 10, 20, or 30 years ago”
    – “If your kid wears a racist costume, you’re kind of wearing it too”

How a Disney costume can be racist is beyond me. And this is just the start. The article rages on to levels of unspeakable stupidity. No sensible human being can live with such foolishness.

Dems are lost. Completely. Speaking out such absurd idiocies can have only one effect – send people towards GOP in scores.

  24. Deaf Spy says:

I’m sure the GOP could do it.

Perhaps, but why would they do it? They are winning elections all over these days.

I’m sure the Dems would do it if they took control of the Senate next year.

Not likely, Robert. Dems are losing all over.

Millions are noticing Trump’s racism, misogyny, kleptomania, narcissism, etc.

What millions are noticing is that the prominent Dem supporter and donator to Clinton’s foundation Harvey Weinstein turned out to be a rapist. And how Clinton’s foundation refuses to return the money which good old friend Harvey donated. And how Hillary’s husband is actually the one who had an affair with his secretary. And how Hollywood stars, who lead the “Resistance”, actually made their careers by pleasing Harvey and the like of him.
And wait, was it Obama who imposed a ban on Cubans to enter USA?

Robert, sorry to bring it to you, but you are as delusional as Hillary Clinton. At least she got the money of her rapist pal Harvey. You don’t have even a second-hand Nissan Leaf.

  25. Grece says:

Robert, you are about as nuts as Maxine Waters.

  26. Kurkosdr says:

Wow, someone hosts a CMS on Linux! Unbelievable! 🙂 And, of course, irrelevant to the discussion.

And of course, CMS servers are the easiest job around. All you need is a kernel, a network stack and an interpreter of PHP or a servlet engine.

But step into the realm of quality consumer hardware (such as laptops with switchable graphics) and you suddenly have stuff that poor Desktop Linux and its antequated (X.org) or underdeveloped (Wayland) subsystems just can’t handle. Then there is the issue of GPU performance on high end GPUs. Or the issue good battery life on laptops with high end OR embedded GPUs.

In fact, Desktop Linux can’t get simple things like HDMI audio passthrough or Dolby Digital Live/DTS Connect correctly.

Or even getting windows to launch in the correct monitor.

So… the damn thing can run PHP and servlets. A CLI application. Big deal. It’s like bragging over cheap scooters because a billion dollar company like PizzaHut uses them to deliver Pizza.

  27. Deaf Spy wrote, “As for impeachment, I see you shifted your prediction from 2018 to 2019.”

I’m sure the GOP could do it. All it would take is for 2 or 3 senators to refuse to support any of Trump’s stuff. If the GOP wanted to pass anything, they would have to remove Trump. That works for me.

I’m sure the Dems would do it if they took control of the Senate next year. I expect they will make the House more representative of the poll-results too. You can fool some of the people all of the time but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. Millions are noticing Trump’s racism, misogyny, kleptomania, narcissism, etc. The folks who neglected to vote for Hillary will vote for any pony the Dems run after seeing what Trump has done.

The GOP have prayed that having a few good people around Trump in the White House would be enough but it isn’t. The disgusting performance of John Kelly last week shows that. Whatever honour Kelly had as a military man left in a few minutes when Kelly attacked a grieving family and friend in the briefing room. What a hypocrit! What a liar! What an empty barrel! Kelly’s no better than Trump, perhaps worse, because Kelly at least knows how to behave and failed to live up to the expectations of a 7-year old child. He’s better than Trump who has child-like morals, but just a little.

  28. Deaf Spy says:

I’m glad to see they moved from TOOS to GNU/Linux years ago.

Wow, someone hosts a CMS on Linux! Unbelievable! 🙂 And, of course, irrelevant to the discussion.

You may snicker on the average raise, but should you have read the article and its sources properly, you wouldn’t have. Your idea is really silly. But, this is not the first time you are too superficial. You’re losing it Robert. Is that old age, or just being blinded by Trump? 🙂
Even an increase of 12% is something. Much more than the gibberish Dems and Greenies, and all other Smart and Beautiful keep pouring.

Meanwhile, Trump’s job approval has reached 36%.

Yeah, yeah, I know. The same people predicted blazing, glorious victory for Hillary. We all saw how accurate these predictions were.

As for impeachment, I see you shifted your prediction from 2018 to 2019. Good move. 🙂 And don’t cry for USA. If something big is to fall apart soon, I would bet on Russia first, then EU. 🙂

  29. Deaf Spy wrote about IWF. I’m glad to see they moved from TOOS to GNU/Linux years ago.

“Average hourly earnings for all workers rose 12 cents to $26.55 over the past year”.

WHOOHOO! Let’s party. Oh, that’s an average. Imagine what those at the low end are feeling when the country’s run by a megalomaniac who loves rich people and doesn’t know the name of a poor guy who died for his country and who plans to cut taxes on the rich and put the burden of increased national debt on the backs of the poor.

Meanwhile, Trump’s job approval has reached 36%. Since folks can’t vote against Trump in 2018, they’ll vote against the GOP who support him. Expect impeachment to start on a fast track in 2019 if USA still exists by then.

  30. Deaf Spy says:

Tough times, Robert. Common people are much more interested in facts like these:

  32. Grece says:

The Senate should not bend to Trump’s wishes

So your stance if you do not agree with the CEO, that another branch of that organization should just blatantly ignore them? Wow, such life advice Robert! No wonder you never made it in the corporate world, and ended up teaching to drunk Eskimos and their offspring.

  33. Grece says:

Senile and delusional Canuck wrote, “”Are you forgetting” that Trump did not win the popular vote?

LOL, butt hurt much? Show me Robert, where the popular vote ever affected the presidential election. Just a friendly reminder, for your onset of dementia, the Electoral College is the commanding authority of such elections.

  34. Grece wrote, “Are you forgetting” that Trump did not win the popular vote? The Senate should not bend to Trump’s wishes and give sober second thought to his and the House’s wishes. That’s the job of Senate, not to follow a suicidal leader.

  37. Grece says:

The projection of 3-4% growth forever is utter nonsense without unfettered immigration and Free Trade

Well, well, seems like the States enjoyed many years super-par growth in the past, all sans immigrants and free trade, imagine that.

  38. Grece says:

Oh God, not that crank Tom Steyer, the largest donor to the DNC and responsible for them pushing his environmental agenda.

Steyer uses his political donations and consequent connections to enhance his already vast fortune. He is a bitter opponent of fossil fuels, especially coal. That fits with his current economic interests: banning coal-fired power plants will boost the value of his solar projects. Steyer owes his fortune in large part to the fact that he has been one of the world’s largest financiers of coal projects. Tom Steyer was for coal before he was against it.

He bet huge on he last election and lost, now he wants to somehow recoup his losses.

    http://eelegal.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Steyer-Report-7-21-2016.pdf

Sorry Robert, this clown has far more money then you and the only thing he has on his mind is continuing his gravy train as when hitched to the DNC. With Trump in power, he is a loser. Hence the true reason for his public outcry’s to impeach Trump.

  39. Kurkosdr says:

foreign competition from countries = foreign competition from other countries

  40. Kurkosdr says:

An old retired fart supporting unfettered immigration, because he likes pitting the working people of his country to foreign competition from countries willing to work for far less, because he thinks this will translate to cheaper services for him. And also supports importing cheap stuff from China because he thinks this translates to growth (instead of many locals losing their jobs to Foxconn workers working with no or very minimal worker rights).

In other words, a dude who likes competition by foreigners willing to work for less as long as he doesn’t have to participate in that job market (because the government forces locals who work to pay for his pension and healthcare).

    What a hypocrite.

    And how original.

Keep dreaming about a Trump impeachment so that the “status quo” is restored. Not gonna happen in the current political climate. Unless the Dems manage to come up with an immigration plan that serves the interests of American workers (not foreign workers), and unless the Dems come with a trade agreement that doesn’t throw the local worker and local business (which compared to Chinese businesses, are better regulated in regards to working rights and environmental impact) under the bus, there will be more Trumps, despite Trump himself being a buffoon.

Apparently, the American people prefer an unqualified buffoon than a qualified person who is working against their interests as their president.

PS: I know I am a potential foreign worker in the US, but I recognise that Americans have the right to vote for a president that serves their interests. I would do the same. At least I won’t be competing for manual labour jobs, which is where the real massacre is happening.
