“President Barack Obama was the greatest gun salesman in America — until Hillary Clinton ran to replace him. Sales soared to records because gun owners feared they would impose tougher gun restrictions.
Now that a Republican endorsed by the National Rifle Association is in the White House, those supposed villains have disappeared. Sales of guns and ammo are falling, right along with the stocks of gun makers.”
See How President Trump is bad for the gun industry – Feb. 3, 2017I don’t have much to say that’s good about Trump but anyone who wants to buy firearms or ammunition this year should find demand is lower and supply is great compared to last year when everyone feared Hillary was going to seize firearms etc. Of course, that was nonsense but manufacturers could not keep up with demand and prices rose dramatically. Already I see many more retailers offering components for ammunition that were scarce as hen’s teeth last year, like powder. It was up to $50/lb last year and now you can find it for less than $30. I like that. Keep it up, Trump. Keep on fooling people as long as it benefits me.

My MissionMy observations and opinions about IT are based on 40 years of use in science and technology and lately, in education. I like IT that is fast, cost-effective and reliable. I do not care whether my solution is the same as yours. I like to think for myself.
My first use of GNU/Linux in 2001 was so remarkably better than what I had been using, I feel it is important work to share GNU/Linux with the world. I have been blessed by working in schools where students and school systems have benefited by good, modular software easily installed in most systems.
I have shown GNU/Linux to thousands of students and hundreds of teachers over the years and will continue in some way doing that until I die in spite of the opposition.
