Tracking

As a hunter, I love to get clues to the behaviour of game in order to optimize the cost/benefit of hunting. As a consumer, I love to shop on the web and have stuff magically appear at my door. Sometimes, it’s scary what you learn from tracks:

  • Last week I ordered parts from NewEgg for my Beastly server. It took less than a day for the shipment via Purolator Courier to travel from New York City to Toronto, crossing the border… Great!
  • I also ordered some special tools for hunting. The shipment started in Nashville, TN, and took two days to head 900 miles in the wrong direction to Miami, FL, by USPO…. Scary! Are they going to put in some snowbird’s luggage to ship up north???

Well, time will tell. These things usually work themselves out, but not always. 😉
