Back in high school I seem to remember that the way to get Congress to pass or change a law is to get one’s congressman or senator to sponsor the bill. Bending Obama’s ear is unlikely to do the trick.

Now I, like Microsoft and most other high-tech successes, are against the software patents, too, but nothing is going to change until Congress gets into it.
