One chooses to eat onions if that’s the only food available, I suppose. I choose to eat onions and I have a variety of food in my kitchen. Why cannot people have variety on the retail shelves?

They are. They’re voting with their wallets. People always do and they choose Microsoft Windows due to it’s superior desktop features and broad list of applications that increase productivity. Unfortunately FOSS offers nothing anywhere near useable.
