And all through the school the IT guy scurried
taking PCs and servers out of storage
plugging things in and finding what was missing
gathering up the last of that other OS and paving it over.

Ahhh. Satisfaction is finding that a guy complaining about his PC not playing some music was running XP. He’s now on one of the new AMD64 X2 2gB machines that rock with GNU/Linux. I am preparing some more gigabytes of content for the servers and making some special configurations for the high school teachers for reporting.

I have 24 hours before I panic. Tomorrow is registration day.
